# Kick Use Case Library

For the complete documentation index, see [llms.txt](https://docs.kick.co/llms.txt). This page is also available as [Markdown](https://docs.kick.co/ai/mcp/mcp-use-case-library.md).

Use these examples as starting points for common MCP workflows in Kick. Each walkthrough shows a practical way to ask your AI assistant to review data, prepare changes, or summarize what needs attention while keeping you in control of anything that writes back to Kick.

## Outstanding Tasks Review

Review open tasks across workspaces so you can prioritize client follow-up and close blockers. Use this workflow to summarize what is overdue, what needs accountant review, and what can be turned into a clear next action.

## Complex Manual Journal Entry

Draft a manual journal entry from messy source context, then review the proposed debits, credits, accounts, dates, and memo before posting. Use this pattern when you want the assistant to structure a complex entry without skipping accountant review.

## Activity Audit

Inspect recent workspace activity before approving close, investigating unexpected changes, or deciding whether to unwind a batch update. The model can summarize who changed what, when it happened, and which edits deserve a closer look.

## Trailing 12 Months Flux Analysis

Ask the model to pull financial reports and compare changes across a trailing 12-month window. Use this to spot unusual movement, identify categories that need explanation, and turn report review into a focused follow-up list.

## Cash Flow Forecasting and Analysis

Combine recent activity, account balances, and expected inflows or outflows to build a cash flow view you can discuss with a client. This is useful for planning conversations, runway checks, and highlighting timing risks.

## Copy Custom Chart of Accounts

Copy a custom Chart of Accounts from one workspace or entity to another. The model can compare structures, explain what will be created, and stop for confirmation before applying setup changes.
