Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with the prize. Winner will receive an IRS 1099 form and must provide a completed W-9 before the prize is awarded.

Winner selection

One winner selected at random from all eligible entries on or around July 22, 2026. Odds depend on number of entries received.

Winner contacted by email within 5 business days of selection. Prior to receiving the prize, the winner must provide verifiable proof of their status as a practicing accountant or bookkeeper, such as a business license, firm website, or professional profile. Winner must respond and provide documentation within 7 days or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. If the selected winner does not respond within 7 days, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to return the required documentation, an alternate winner will be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries.
